Once your bill is paid, we will notify the SC Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or the SC Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and, if appropriate, they will mail you your updated registration.

Please note, to ensure you receive mail successfully, it is very important to always keep your mailing address current. For the Treasurer’s Office, you can update your mailing address online at any time. To update your mailing address with DMV or DNR, please reach out directly to those agencies.

If you do not receive your decal…

  • Vehicle: Take your paid tax receipt to your local DMV Office to receive your decal.

  • Watercraft: Call DNR at 803-734-3833 to let them know that you have not received your decal.
